With our end-to-end Silver or Gold services we prepare the forms for you, help you to sign them correctly, and check them before getting them registered for you. We even help you claim any fee reductions for which you may be eligible. (Note: we do not give legal advice; for this you need a solicitor.)
You can choose to make your LPAs by post, by telephone/video call, or - subject to COVID-19 restrictions - at our offices in Cockermouth.

LPA forms are available from the Office of the Public Guardian website www.gov.uk/opg or you can phone for paper copies. But being faced with two 24-page forms, three types of supporting forms and 48 pages of guidance notes can seem overwhelming.
For support, our friendly team offer a one-hour appointment to talk through the legal terms and process, pitfalls, fee exemptions and things to consider. (Note: we do not give legal advice; for this you need a solicitor.)
Or perhaps you don’t have equipment to type and print your LPA. We can give you an ‘LPA Helping Hand’. Come to our office and we will type as you dictate your instructions, print the LPA and make it simple to sign up.
Preparing and signing an LPA is not as straightforward as it looks. If you make mistakes it will be rejected and you may have to pay all or part of your registration fee again. Bring your finished LPA to us for a ‘passport style’ check before submission.
