If you would like us to support you to make an LPA application we will need information about you, your chosen attorneys and your certificate provider so we can complete the official registration form.

LPA Confidentiality and Consent Agreement
We take seriously our responsibilities regarding the storage and appropriate use of personal data that is disclosed or discussed by you with us.
In accordance with Data Protection Act 1998 West Cumbria Carers will record and store the information you give us in order to complete the Lasting Power of Attorney registration documents as part of the service you have requested.
We will only use this information to get in touch with you during the completion of the service you have requested. Once this service is complete the information will be retained and stored for a maximum period of 14 months. Financial information relating to invoices will be stored for seven years for accounting purposes.
As part of the service delivery the information you have given will be shared with the Office of The Public Guardian. We will never disclose your information with any other third party without further consent from you.
