We would like to say a huge thank you to our team of runners for giving up their time and energy to highlight the incredible effort caring entails, as well as helping us fundraise so that we can offer vital support services to carers.
The Great North Run is one of the most popular half marathons in the world with 57,000 runners taking part every year. This year the 13.1-mile route starts and finishes in Newcastle upon Tyne, taking runners through the city centre and over the iconic Tyne Bridge twice.
