The Great North Run is one of the most popular half marathons in the world with 57,000 runners taking part every year. This year the 13.1-mile route starts and finishes in Newcastle upon Tyne, taking runners through the city centre and over the iconic Tyne Bridge twice.
The run takes place on Sunday 12th September 2021, you can find more information about the event at https://www.greatrun.org/events/great-north-run
