Over the past few months, we have been working with Adamedia to create a short film highlighting the support we can provide to carers.
The final video was recently showcased at the Britain’s Energy Coast Business Cluster members meeting so that members can see how their incredible donation will support our continuing work – you can read more about this here.
Michelle McGibbon our Community Fundraising Coordinator explained:
‘One of the difficulties we find for our charity is that people don’t understand the services we offer. It is often assumed we are a care agency, however this is not the case. We support unpaid carers from upwards of 5 years old. After a discussion with Gillian Johnston from Morgan Sindall Construction & Infrastructure, it was felt a promotional film would be a great way to showcase what we offer and also highlight the needs of some of our carers.’
We are incredibly grateful to Morgan Sindall Construction & Infrastructure who kindly sponsored the production of the film, using local film producers, and fellow Business Cluster members, Adamedia for production.
Dianne Richardson, from Balfour Beatty BEP project, features in the film and helped to arrange for group of fellow carers to talk about their experiences.
