The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on unpaid carers has been huge, affecting their access to support and services, their finances, and their physical and mental health.
It can be a struggle to navigate the maze of services and entitlements at the best of times, and this year the struggle has been magnified by the pandemic response. This can result in carers missing out on financial and practical support.
Caring brings all kinds of challenges and it’s important that carers know where to turn for advice, information and support.
Contacting your local carer’s organisation for help is one of the first steps you should take on your caring journey. Our Support Workers remain available to help carers over the phone or via email.
