Self Care with Kooth

Category: Young CarersThis Easter we are working with Kooth to offer a selection of digital mental health and wellbeing sessions. These sessions are available to young carers age 11 years and older.
Self Care Session
When - Wednesday 7th April at 2-3pm
What - This session will cover the following:
- How have young carers been impacted by Covid?
- Why self-care is so important
- Main creative writing activity looking at self-care themes
Stress & Anxiety Session
When - Monday 12th April at 3-4pm
What - This session will cover the following:
- What’s the difference between stress and anxiety?
- What is the Stress Bucket?
- How to develop coping mechanisms
- Anxiety myth busting
- Finding the right anxiety zone for you
Wellbeing Session
When - Friday 16th April at 2-3pm
What - This session will cover the following:
- What is wellbeing?
- Developing a self-care routine
- Exploring the Five Ways to Wellbeing
